FOOD! FOOD!! and more FOOD!!

Yep!! tats me in the pic holding the bone of a very large fish i devoured!!  :-)
Well!! Every on earth have a craving for food!!! But in my case, its something more than jz craving!!! its more of a madness!!!! I believe that my love for food has been passed on to me frm my mom!!! She is a wonderful cook!!! She cooks some authentic Kerala Dishes that no one might have ever heard of. Recently she cooked 'Stuffed Mackerel'. The tastiest fish curry ever!! I am always curious about new dishes, new culture around us! Ilove to travel places, meet ppl n have a taste of their culture n FOOD of course!! Thankfully my friend Mr. Terence Joseph is equally mad about good n authentic food!!! He has been of gr8 help in my journey of discovering tasty dishes around Kerala!

 Talking about my food experience,  i happened to visit David Hall situated at Fort Cochin!!! Its basically an art gallery where people can display their works!!! At times, they open up cafe inside the Hall. We happened to visit David Hall when the cafe was open.

This was the menu that awaited us @ David Hall:

This menu was to die for!! Look @ the rates!! It was damn cheap!! That Oyster Steamed in Shell was the highlight! We ordered it 3 or four times!!!

Second we ordered the Sardine kebab!!! It was great!!!

Since Cochin is surrounded by water....sea, river, lakes...what and what not!!!! We have a huge supply of fishes and other stuffs like crabs, lobsters, squids etc!! I have a huge like towards seafood!!!My favorite seafood restaurant in town according to me is  'Seagull' situated at fort Cochin.!!!  The food they serve is seriously delicious!!! Something magical about this restaurant.

You get to choose from a huge variety of fishes!!!!

  You can fry it, roast it, pollikkal( roasting the fish inside banana leaf), curry it..... you say it. you get it!!!

Yes! This is the magical Karimeen(Pearl Spot) Roast from Seagull. The gravy is to die for.

This is my all time favorite!!! The eternal 'Fish Pollichathe'! OMG!! One of the reasons why i visit seagull!!!

I just can't help myself praise seagull!!! damn cool place!!! one thing that i don't like about it is the service!! Service is not that great!!! Another advantage is the beach view!!! They serve drinks too!!! yep!!!
